My first art journal; the words are from a Joni Mitchell song.
The background: Gesso-ed and then covered with acrylic paints using a wet wipe
I printed out the sentiment on regular A4 printer paper and used a fine line marker to define the edges
The butterflies are from an old card; I could have just as easily used stamps or computer printouts. This just seemed easier. I used felt pens to shade because that’s all I had. I don’t like the result, but at least now I know not to use them! (Live and learn, people, live and learn!)
