Creating an Envelobox

Laurence bought me the Ultimate Crafter’s Companion last Christmas which is this amazing gadget that lets you make boxes, envelopes, shaped card blanks and a lot more.

Sadly, I haven’t used it as much as I should but I do get it out from time to time to make envelopes. More to the point, Enveloboxes.

Envelobox Creator

These boxes are especially good for dimensional cards or if you need packaging for a set of cards. Or in this case, a set of crocheted coasters.

Using an envelobox creator is  really quite simple;

  1. You measure the size of your card / gift –
  2. Measure the depth
  3. Consult the booklet provided which tells you the dimensions of the cardstock you are going to need.
  4. Your booklet also tells you where to add your score lines
  5. Score, cut and paste and et voila!

Of course you are going to want to embellish it 🙂

Post embellishment, here’s what my coaster box looks like:

I’ve used Memento Dew Drop Inks and a stamp set from Craft Asylum called Meadow Sweet – it’s the sweetest set of stamps and I love love LOVE it.
