Another exercise in playing with backgrounds, this art journal page was created on a black A4 envelope stiffener; so I guess I could call it altered art 🙂
The background was created using blue and green scraps that were adhered to the board using gel medium. A gesso wash followed after which I used Faber Castell gelatos for depth
The roof was a piece of maroon cardstock that was doodled on, glued to the background and shaded with PITT markers.
The cat – I am especially pleased with the cat 🙂 was inspired by a layout created by Vicky Papaioannou.
The quote? That came out of the blue and was promptly stamped and embossed.
