Card: Make a Wish


This was one made for the Free For All Challenge on Splitcoaststampers; the brief was to use a die-cut in the card.

It was also used for the Featured Stamper challenge

I have these die-cuts I bought from Paperchase that I’ve used in the past and it seemed like a good idea to just use another one of them.

The card is a birthday  card I am going to send to my niece and I think it’s a cutie.

Details 

Stamps: Recollections Clear Stamps – Jamming Animals, alphabet stamps
Paper: 300gsm white cardstock
Ink: Paris Trunks Eco Dyes, Zig Clear Colour Brushes
Accessories: Die cut, sharpie pens, foam squares, glue
Techniques: Fussy cutting, ink shading

Method

  • I masked off three areas and used dye inks to shade it in.
  • The animals were coloured using Zig water colour brushes and adhered over the die cut.
