Am going strong with the A Card a Day Challenge and here’s my week 2 submissions. There are a few cards here that I have blogged about before but they are few and far between.
Day 8 Card 8
This was a quickie; the ‘gifts’ are embossed designer paper tied up with some string. Love faux stitching!
Day 9 Card 9
This is a favourite. The image is from a Rab label from a fleece I bought for Laurence. I clear embossesed some flowers in the card blank. The sentiment is embossed in red
Day 10 Card 10
This was a quickie. The white card is a simple cutout from some designer cardstock I had. I did use a glitter pen on all the three ornaments so it shines a bit. The holly is a wooden embellishment from Hobbycraft.
Day 11 Card 11
Another simple and quick one. The printed Merry Christmas inside is from designer cardstock. I die-cut a triangle out of the red card and gold embossed the edges. The star is from Hobbycraft
Day 12 Card 12
This is a William Morris postcard I bought from the V&A Muesum a while ago. I love the design and added some Stickles to the flowers as well as faux stitching.
Day 13 Card 13
This is a very old card and probably the first one I ever made 🙂 If I made it again, I would add faux stitching to make it look more quilt like
Day 14 Card 14
Have blogged about this card here.
