November | A Card a Day challenge – Part 1 of 3

I loved participating in the September A Card a Day challenge on Facebook.

I took a break in October; too many commitments – but decided to take up the challenge in November.

It’s been great fun and I have already signed up for the December challenge.

Here’s a look at the first 10 cards I made in  November:

Day 1

day-1-card-1
My first ever shaker card – the stamps are freebies from the Creative Stamping magazine.

Day 2

day-2-card-2
The card blank is a 6″ x 6″ from HobbyCraft and the stamps are part of the Creative Stamping freebies

Day 3

day-3-card-3
Probably my least favourite. It was a good idea but got lost in translation.

Day 4

day-4-card-4
A quickie made up from designer card stock. I liked the distressed edges

Day 5

day-5-card-5
Am pleased with this one; Kraft cards always look so nice! The topper is from Hobbycraft

Day 6

day-6-card-6
Again, I am pleased with this one; I layered the polka dotted paper along with a paper pieced tree and then faux stitched it up

Day 7

day-7-card-7
This is a bit busy but I quite like the look – everything was hand stamped (with the exception of the owl which was a Hobbycraft topper)

Day 8

day-8-card-8
Used water colour paper and paints for this one and stamps from Hobby Art; LOVE their range of countryside themed stamps

Day 9

day-9-card-9
This was a ‘Get Well Card’ I made; using stamps from Hobby Art. I prefer avoiding stamping stamping sentiments on the front and would rather hand write something inside.

Day 10

day-10-card-10
I like this one very much for so many reasons. I like the background (used Derwent’s Inktense Blocks and an Artemio stamp but what I like the most is the butcher’s twine around the image. I didnt want to wrap it around ,so I created a frame instead

And that’s the first 10 images. You can find the next 10 here

Thanks for stopping by!
